Grab this simple spotting sheet and spend an hour spotting who stops by over the weekend (23-25 Jan). <\/span>

1. Grab your spotting sheet and get comfy <\/span>

2. Binoculars optional <\/span>

3. Biscuits recommended<\/span>

4. Sit back and watch for 60 whole minutes. No scrolling or wandering off. Answering the door is just about permitted (but get someone else to do it if you can)<\/span><\/p>

5. Count the birds that land (not the flying ones)<\/span><\/p>

6. Tally the highest number of each species you see at any one time (to avoid counting the same bird twice) e.g. if you see 5 sparrows all at once and later see 3 together, your highest tally of sparrows would be 5<\/span><\/p>

7. Record what you saw at what you saw at <\/span>www.rspb.org.uk\/birdwatch<\/u><\/span><\/a> (even if no feathered friends come to see you, still record 0)<\/span><\/p>

8.
